TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all chauffeur transportation services provided by DOP LLC, doing business as CARPELA (“Carpela”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By booking or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Carpela provides professional, pre-arranged chauffeur transportation services exclusively within South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
All services are provided on a reservation-only basis.

3. Transportation Model (Fleet & Affiliate Services)

Carpela operates under a hybrid transportation model.
Transportation services may be performed by:

  • Carpela-operated vehicles, or

  • licensed and insured affiliate transportation operators.

All services are arranged, coordinated, and managed by Carpela in accordance with our service standards.

4. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be made in advance through our website or authorized booking channels. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Cancellations, No-Shows & Waiting Time

Cancellations

Cancellations made one (1) hour or more prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than one (1) hour prior to the scheduled pickup time will be considered a late cancellation and charged at 100% of the booking amount.

No-Shows
If a passenger cannot be located after the applicable complimentary waiting time has expired, the booking will be classified as a no-show.
No-shows will be charged at 100% of the total booking amount.

Waiting Time
Point-to-point services include up to 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
Airport pickups include up to 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time, including international arrivals.

Once the complimentary waiting time has elapsed, additional waiting time will be charged in accordance with our hourly service rates, billed in 15-minute increments.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking details

  • Being ready at the scheduled pickup time

  • Ensuring lawful and respectful behavior during transportation

Carpela reserves the right to terminate service without refund if passenger conduct poses a safety or legal risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

Carpela shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions caused by factors beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, or acts of third parties.

Carpela’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Force Majeure

Carpela shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or emergencies.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
